Price Alerts
Never miss a price move again. Your D0 Bot can watch token prices 24/7 and notify you on Telegram the moment your target is hit.
How to Set an Alert
Just tell your bot in plain English:
"Alert me when SOL goes above $150"
"Notify me if BTC drops below $90,000"
"Tell me when ETH hits $4,000"
Your bot understands both "above" and "below" targets, and you don't need to use any special syntax.
How It Works
- You set the alert — Just describe the condition in your own words
- Bot confirms — Your bot shows the current price and confirms the alert is active
- Price is monitored — Your bot watches the price continuously
- You get notified — When the target is hit, you receive a message in the same Telegram chat
TIP
Alerts are delivered as regular Telegram messages, so you'll get push notifications on your phone just like any other chat message.
Managing Your Alerts
| You Say | What Happens |
|---|---|
| "What alerts do I have?" | Shows all your active price alerts |
| "Cancel the SOL alert" | Removes the specified alert |
| "Alert me when SOL goes above $200" | Adds a new alert (you can have multiple for the same token) |
Example Conversation
You: "Alert me when SOL drops below $120"
Bot: "Price alert set! I'll notify you when SOL goes below $120.00. Current price: $142.35."
(Several hours later)
Bot: "🔔 Price Alert Triggered! SOL just dropped below your target of $120.00. Current price: $119.72 (-15.9% from when the alert was set)."
Good Practices
Set Alerts at Key Levels
- Use support/resistance levels from chart analysis
- Set alerts at round numbers that often act as psychological barriers
- Consider setting alerts for both upside and downside targets
Use Alerts with Other Features
- After receiving an alert, ask your bot to "analyze SOL now" for a full update
- Combine with chart reading — send a chart, identify levels, then set alerts at those levels
- Use portfolio tracking to see how a price move affected your holdings
Alert Behavior
- Multiple alerts per token — You can set several alerts for the same token at different prices
- One-time trigger — Each alert fires once when the price crosses your target, then it's removed
- Active while your bot is online — Alerts work as long as your bot is running. If your bot is hibernated, alerts will be paused and resumed when your bot wakes up
WARNING
Price alerts depend on your bot being online. If you manually hibernate your bot, active alerts will be paused until you wake it up. See Hibernation & Wake Up for details.
